On Oct 11 the Sacramento club is holding a JCNA sanctioned concours in conjunction with a family get together and picnic at Ledgewood Winery in Suisun Valley, near Fairfield. Ledgewood has good wine at reasonable prices, a big, open field with lots of parking and plenty of picnic tables. The winery is conveniently located about 2 miles north of Interstate 80 at 4589 Abernathy Rd. 707-426-4424. Bring a picnic basket and a sun umbrella if you have one, or you can obtain food locally within a mile of the winery.

The Sacramento club would like our help with the judging and score tablulation and, of course, our participation. This is your chance to enter a JCNA concours close to home with a very good chance of walking away with a 1^st or 2^nd place.

Please contact Jerry Nuijen if you can judge or help with the organization of the event. We will have a judges’ training session if your certification has lapsed or you would like to become certified. You do not have to be certified to judge. You can just be a judging team member. It’s a great way to learn about what makes a Jaguar a winner and can teach you a lot of things about your own car.

Directions: Take Interstate 80 to Fairfield. Take the Abernathy Rd exit from either direction and turn north. If you are coming from the San Francisco area this means turn left over the freeway. If you are coming from the Sacramento area exit at the RioVista exit. The sign will say Abernathy Rd as you exit. Inspite of the arrow to the left, turn right. In about 3/10 of a mile you will come to a traffic circle. Proceed straight ahead for about 1.4 miles and you will see Ledgewood on your left.
