December 6, 2024: Holiday Gala Dinner
This year's Holiday Gala Dinner was once again held at Don Giovanni Restaurant in Mountain View. The evening began with a no-host cocktail hour and appetizers, followed by dinner at 7 pm. The new JAG Board Members were announced after dinner, then the group enjoyed some musical surprises.
October 24-27, 2024: CalClubs 2024 in Carmel-by-the-sea
This year JAG sponsored the annual CalClubs reunion for members of all California JCNA-affiliated Jaguar clubs. Members attending represented JAG and the Sacramento, Inland Empire, L.A., and San Diego clubs. Events included an arrival Reception at the Forge in the Forest restaurant, a day-drive to Nepenthe on the Big Sur coast, a drive through Pebble Beach with a BBQ lunch near the coast, an All-British Car Show on the lawn in Carmel Valley, Leaper Laps at the famous Laguna Seca Racetrack, a Jaguar-themed Cars & Coffee at Baja Cantina, and a "Fall Colors" loop drive up the Carmel Valley canyon with lunch on return at the Monterey waterfront. Several events were open to all other British marques, which swelled our ranks and helped us meet new friends and fellow British car afficionados.
September 26, 2024: Sonoma-Napa Wine Country Getaway
This was an overnight tour through the Sonoma and Napa Wine Country. We launched from our meeting place in San Rafael, toured parts of the Sonoma, Napa and Chiles Valleys, visited wineries, and stayed overnight at the Geyserville Inn.
August 3, 2024: South Bay Drive and Lunch
We met up next to the old train station on Niles Boulevard in Niles, Fremont. From there the drive covered about 40 miles of visually and historically interesting roads in the East Bay hills and ended with lunch in a restaurant in the San Jose area.
June 15, 2024: Sonoma Coastal Drive
We met in San Rafael and drove some of the wonderful backroads of Marin and Sonoma on our way to Russian River Vineyards in Forestville. From Lucas Valley Road we drove North along Tomales Bay. We made a stop in Tomales then continued North along the Sonoma coast and, finally, inland to the winery for lunch.
