Does your Jag love to drive beautiful curvy roads?

Most really DO!!!

Well, here is an opportunity to let you stretch its legs and enjoy a beautiful day and drive.   On a Monday, the roads we’ve chosen are uncrowded and go by beautiful creeks and farms along the Carmel River.

On Monday, June 19th, we will begin by gathering at the Black Bear Diner parking lot in Gilroy at 8:30 AM. 395 Leavesley Road.  Our tour leaders will be George and Andrea Barry. We’ll leave at 9:00 AM.

George and Andrea will lead the drive from Gilroy to our second gathering place at Exxon at 273 River Road in Salinas. This is only a mile or so south of Highway 68. At Exxon we will regroup and gather Jaguars from the south.   Cars joining at Exxon Salinas should be ready to leave at 10:00 AM.

Our route will then take us from Exxon to end in Carmel Valley.  This segment should take about two hours perhaps more, for the periodic stops to gather up our drivers and admire the wildflowers. We will be cruising down River Rd to Arroyo Seco Rd and going down Carmel Valley, following the route of the Carmel River down twisty twiney roads, past vineyards, and other interesting points.

After a lovely spin down Carmel Valley Road, we will arrive at The Bear Flag Roadhouse, near Quail Lodge for lunch.    Each person can order from the menu and will receive individual checks.   This is also a dog-friendly restaurant, so if you want to bring your four-legged friends, please do so.
