Prepare for an unforgettable Jaguar adventure lead by your President! Our President Sandor invites club members on an overnight drive from Santa Cruz to the Hearst Hacienda Lodge at Fort Hunter Liggett. This scenic journey combines coastal roads and inland tranquility and promises to be a highlight of the club's calendar.
The Hacienda Lodge, on a military base, was designed by Julia Morgan, the same architect who designed Hearst Castle. It offers historical charm and natural beauty, providing a picturesque backdrop.
On Saturday morning we’ll meet at 11:00am at the Santa Cruz County Courthouse parking lot on 701 Ocean Street. We’ll embark on a leisurely drive, enjoying winding roads, and a scenic coastal stretch of Highway 1 until we reach our lunch spot, Mo’s River Road Grill in Salinas.
