VALENTINE’S DAY, HIS TORIC TOWNS DRIVE

A Journey through Historic Towns Monday, February 13, 2023

Tour Leaders: Andy and Marla Preston

Meeting place: Sonoma Valley Bagel, 350 Rohnert Park Expressway, Rohnert Park.

Time: Meet at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM departure.

Tour: As the title suggests we will be driving through many of the historic towns of Sonoma and Marin Counties on our way to lunch at Rancho Nicasio Restaurant in Nicasio. Rancho Nicasio is one of the few remaining original 'Roadhouses' being a Stagecoach stop in the mid-1850s and has retained much of its original charm.

We will be driving some of the less driven roads of Sonoma and through the historic towns of Occidental, Bodega and Freestone to our first stop at Marin French Cheese Company.

We will continue our drive through Tomales and out to the shoreline of Tomales Bay and through Marshall and Pt. Reyes before heading back inland to Rancho Nicasio Restaurant, which is a 'Fully vaccinated restaurant'.

If the weather is pleasant, we can eat outside in the gardens otherwise we will eat in their rustic dining room. Lunch entrees need to be ordered beforehand from the list below:

• Rancho Cheeseburger, grilled onions & French fries
• Fried chicken sandwich, slaw, pickle & French fries
• Fish and Chips (Cod), Cole slaw, tartar sauce & French fries
• Large butter lettuce salad, blue cheese, dried cranberries, apples, walnuts, Italian dressing 

All prices include tax and tip but not drinks. Order all drinks at the outside bar including bottled water. Pay online here after registering via credit card, via Zelle in your bank's app (preferred, no fees charged to JAG,) by PayPal or offline to Phil.
